What I learned

The presentations were a lot of fun.  Here are a few thing I learned:

Loki: Is the father of a wolf, a half corpse half human, and a giant serpent.
Raven: Used to be white until he flew trough a plum of smoke.
Odin: Posses Gungnir which always hits its target.
Nokomis: Is the Native American daughter of the moon and mother to the world.
Freya: Is the leader of the Valkyries and is responsible for the good people that die.
Lan-Caihe: Helps the poor and is absolutely crazy.
Hel: In charge of the bad souls in a cold underworld.
Dionysus: Became a full god only because he was born out of Zeus's thigh.
Xi - Wangmu: Rose to the top after starting out as the plague goddess.
Aphrodite: Is officially married to Hephaestus, but is not faithful to him.
Nut: In love with her brother Geb, but is forced to stay away from him.
Sun Wukong: Stole a peach from Xi-Wangmu's tree and became immortal.
Isis: Is quite powerful, but wants to maintain her power no matter what.
Amentet: Can make the souls in the underworld come back to life.
Coyote: A coyote on its two legs represents him while one on four legs is just a ordinary coyote.
Pangu: Created everything after emerging from a black egg in a sea of chaos.
Anubis: Weighs each soul against Maat's feather to decide where they will go.
Persephone: Was abducted by her uncle with permission from her father.
Demeter: Controls the seasons based on wheather or not Persephone is with her.
